Make a Claim
Please be aware that the information you give creates the grounds for the further claim handling process. If we do not receive all information we might contact you with questions, which may prolong the claims handling process. That is why it is important to fill in all fields and attach or send in receips.
- Do you have your policy number, booking reference or card number?
- Do you have your bank account information?
- Have you scanned your supporting documentation (receipts, itinerary, boading pass, Property Irregularity Report, police report etc.)?
When can I submit a claim?
You can submit your claim immediately after the incident. In other words, you don't need to wait until you return from your trip. The easiest way to submit a claim is by completing the form on our website. You can complete the claim form any time from any where in the world.
What happens after I have completed the claim form?
You will receive an email confirming that we have received your claim. You will usually hear from us within two weeks although it may take longer during peak seasons.
Can I complete the claim form if I don't have access to the supporting documentation?
If you are unable to attach the documentation to your claim at the time of completing the form, you can send them to us later.
I am not sure what to reply to the questions?
Reply to the best of your ability. If we need further documentation or a more detailed description of the incident you will be contacted by a claims handler.
What if I have more than one insurance?
In the event that you have an insurance policy elsewhere, Europæsike ERV reserve the right to contact these to share the cost of the reimbursement, per the Danish Insurance Contracts Act. This does not affect your deductible or the insurance premium.
Which file formats can I submit?
You can attach files in the following formats: .pdf .png .jpg .jpeg .xps .xlsx eller .docx and up to 10MB per file.
What should I do if I need another person to handle my claim on my behalf?
If another person needs to handle your claim on your behalf, you need to fill out a power of attorney. The person with the power of attorney is allowed to take care of all correspondance regarding your case at Europæiske ERV.
